I am very pleased to announce that I will, after all, be able to renew my “friends” membership with my local theatre.
This morning I have received confirmation that they will ensure that people who need a bench and hoist will be able to use the toilet after the major refurbishment!
“We’re absolutely committed to making your suggestions work including the facilities that would make such a difference for your son and others.
However, we’re not able to finalise the precise details of this until the architects go back to the drawing board in the next stages of the design process and this won’t be until we get the project go-ahead. In the meantime, I can assure you that no design decisions around your access suggestions or needs will be made until we have discussed it further with you and others.

Cornwall is already a fabulous place to visit.
Before long, it will be the most amazingly accessible place too.
